Austin and Nicola are a husband and wife team with over twenty years’ experience as primary school teachers, they have seen first-hand the decline in active childhoods and the rise in a sedentary lifestyle. They live on their family farm with their three boys Finnán (5), Páidí (3) and Séimí (1) in south County Wexford. They are passionate about outdoor living, sport and exploring the world around them.

Austin has many interests including, self-sufficient living, bee-keeping and traditional crafts. He enjoys reading and writing poetry, short stories and plays.

Nicola competes in marathons, triathlons, and adventure racing. The Health Promoting School and Active Flag coordinator in her school, she enjoys instilling a love of healthy living in her school community.
